Spartak footballers have not forgotten the refereeing of the RPL first round match with Sochi

The captain of the Moscow "Spartak" Georgy Dzhikia in an interview with "SE" said that the team's players remember the referee scandal that happened in the match of the first round of the RPL season 2020/21 against Sochi (2: 2).

Vasily Kazartsev, who worked as the chief arbiter of the meeting, was suspended from the matches of the elite division until the 11th round, and Aleksey Eskov, who worked as a VAR, passed a polygraph test, later retiring for health reasons. Nevertheless, according to Jikia, the players do not have any grudges against the judges or the opponent.

- I won't say that we constantly remember what happened at the end of the first round match. But, of course, no one forgot about it. Now we are calmly preparing for the match, there is no resentment or something like that. Normal preparation is like any other opponent. We watched them (Sochi) on Thursday before training. A general analysis was made: who are the leaders, who are fulfilling the standards and the like. On Friday, we will still look at it pointwise. In principle, we know all the players - they know everything, - said the footballer.

According to Dzhikia, Alexander Kokorin, who played for Sochi in the second part of last season, who signed a contract with Spartak in the summer, can hardly give advice to the coaching staff of the red-and-white in preparation for the game.

- It's been a long time since he left. Of course, some of the guys with whom he played remained. But, I think, even in terms of the game, Sochi has changed. Again he (Kokorin) had a microtrauma. But on Wednesday and Thursday he worked in the general group. So he is fully preparing for the game - he will show himself to the maximum, - said the footballer.
